7-31-10 All Stars The annual PMSL All Stars was held on Saturday July 31st at Whitehall Pool and Tennis in Bowie. Some excellent times were swum by WLS swimmers in the meet! Huge congratulations to Eric Brothman who won the boys 15-18 50m Backstroke title and also came home with 2nd place medals in 50m Butterfly and 100m IM! Abbey Holmes, the league leader all season in girls 11-12 50m Breaststroke, "closed the door" on her competition taking 1st place! She also took 2nd in 100m IM. Way to go Abbey! Other top-5 performances: Lee Friedman took 4th place in boys 15-18 100m Freestyle; Nolan Smith took 4th place in boys 15-18 50m Breaststroke and 5th in 50m Backstroke; Jessica Sweitzer took 5th place in girls 15-18 100m Freestyle; and the boys 100m medley relay team of Friedman, Hoover, Smith, and Brothman took 2nd place in a time of 2:01.35! 7-24-10 PMSL Division B Championships at BSR The Princemont Swim League B-Division Championships were held at Belair Swim and Raquet Saturday July 24.The swimmers gave it their all and the Wahoos ended up with a 5th place finish. The boys 200m Medley Relay team (Brothman, Smith, Hoover, and Friedman) took 1st place honors; Eric Brothman also took 1st place in boys 15-18 50m Back and 100m IM; Abbey Holmes took first in girls 50m Breast and 100m IM.
